Since moving to California, 15years ago, I was hoping to find a great jeweler. I was spoiled in Tacoma, Wa. because my dear friend owned a jewelry company. I found Abby, down here by, word of mouth and he was in our neighborhood. We have purchased, designed, and have estate jewelry repaired. He and his family are kind, and generous. Feels like family when you walk in. Honest and did I mention kind ;), (yep I did mention kind for the second time?) Thank you to Abby and his family!!

Amazing customer service. I purchased a pendant in the morning and asked if Abby could engrave it that same day. He made it happen. Moreover, when I missed his call to come and pick it up that night before the store closed, he offered to meet me in-between our homes (since he'd closed shop for the night) to give me the pendant by my deadline. The pendant turned out beautifully. I will definitely be coming back to this shop!

I recently got engaged and was looking for rings all over the place. I did Costco, I tried online and eventually went to the jewelry stores around town. After about 4 venues I stumbled upon Abby's. It was so refreshing when I walked in, Zack greeted me and I felt very comfortable.
He showed me all different options with many different designs. When I finally found the design I was looking for we then had to decide on a stone. He couldn't have been more helpful in meeting all of my goals, budget, design, stone size etc. best kept secret in the jewelry industry.

Abby redid my wedding ring and a 2 stones from a family ring to create a 3 stone ring. Other jewelers said it couldn't be done because the two side stones were slightly different sizes. Also they are round stones and I wanted them to appear square. Abby created a custom setting. He's an artist and he did an incredible job. We want him to do additional pieces in the future. I'd highly recommend him.

The jeweler I used for years closed. Two friends highly recommended Abby's to me. I had a ring with a loose prong so needed to get it repaired. I asked Abby to look at it and also my engagement ring. ( haven't checked it in many years). Abby took both rings and returned in a few moments. The engagement ring did not need attention, but he had cleaned it. The ruby ring did have loose prongs. He would look at it more closely and advise me after that was done. I asked what the charge was for cleaning the diamond ring and he smiled and said,"No charge. My pleasure." A few days later he told me that three prongs on the ruby ring needed attention now and there were 13 others that would need attention at a later date. He then surprised me by saying his advice was to just do the three now. How easy it would have been for him to say that I was in danger of losing the stones and the whole ring should be repaired! So I went with his advice. Total charge - $25.00. Blew me away. And of course the ring was polished and looks brand new. I have found my new jeweler! I highly recommend this business.

Okay so I got a little carried away. But when you find something like this you have to talk about it.
I had been looking for a new wedding ring or to have mine re-made using my diamonds. Because I had become allergic to white gold after my baby was born and I was unable to wear my most valuable piece of jewelry. I went to a jeweler that I had been going to for years and years. And he was no help at all he was trying to convince me it would be too much money to make a new ring and I should just buy a new diamond and ring. But I was not falling for it. And he made me feel like I wasting his time. My wedding ring was something so special to me that I was even hesitant to destroy it and create a new one. I went to several other jewelers and was not impressed and more annoyed because they just wanted to do the same thing. Sell me something I did not want.
I was told about Abby's from my father in-law. When I walked into the store it felt nice and peaceful. DJ was so unbelievably helpful and never tried to up-sale me. She under stood the sentimental attachment I had to my ring. She gave me several options and then brought Abby into the conversation. Abby showed me some of the rings he designed and I was impressed. Never once did he make me feel uncomfortable or pushy. I went home and thought processed the day. I held onto my original wedding ring because I was not ready to part with it. And had a new wedding band made. I had some stones from family members and different ideas to create a new ring. It was around Christmas time and the shop was closed but he had the wax to show me. I met him at his house. That right there made me feel like I was not just a dollar sign. He makes you feel like friends. Abby took my ideas with his ideas. And the outcome was the most bitchin wedding band ever.
A year after that I was itching to wear my diamonds and ready to part with my original wedding ring. When we showed up in the store it was like old friends. LOVE IT!! Again the experience was not a bit stressful. I trusted them and appreciated there honesty. And now I have two special and unique rings made by Abby. The pricing was perfect and exactly what I was looking for.
I was searching Yelp and found Abby. I never ever do this. But the experience and quality of the jewelry is unbelievable. This kind of service is so rare to find these days. LOVE IT! Everyone at Abby's ROCKS! I also love that my ring made it in the Video.

There are not many truly custom jewellery stores around, and to find one that gives honest prices and is friendly is a rare gem. Craftsmanship here is top notch and the designs are breathtaking. Abby is my go to person for all our fine jewelry. My fianc and I were recommended to Abby by our dear friends. We started off with customizing my engagement ring. I cannot recommend Abby's Designs enough....they are fantastic! I have an antique engagement ring that I accidentally damaged...after going to 2 other shops that said they could not fix it, Abby's was able to help! They did amazing work and even took the time to reinforce parts of the ring that were weak. Their prices were very reasonable and the ring looks incredible...I will definitely be back for future jewelry purchases!

This jeweler is truly a jeweler. Abby does the work and his extensive background and experience in the business shows. I bought an antique silver ring at a flea market and I wanted to have an aquamarine set in it so I brought it to Abby's. DJ was very friendly and helpful and the younger guy who helped me, I forget his name, was knowledgable and helpful. I chose a stone, aquamarine, and he said he would order a few and I could choose which one I liked. Less than a week later he called me and said he had the stones for me to look it. After choosing the stone he said it would be ready in 3 days but he called the next day and said that it was set and ready to be picked up. The ring looks fabulous. They rebuilt some of the metal and it looks absolutely perfect.

Abby, Zack and DJ (Father, Son and Daughter) are wonderful. My wife has had two custom items made and collaborated with Abby and Zack on both. They are a joy and do EXCEPTIONAL work!

My friend introduced me to Abby's Designs while he was meeting with Abby to make a decision on purchasing a diamond for his engagement ring. While there, I had the opportunity to meet Abby and his entire family. They were very patient with us as we were there for a while trying to decide on which diamond. Two years since that time, I introduced him to my Brother and Sister for their rings and they were also satisfied with the quality of the work as well as the customer service they provided.

Besides being the best jeweler of all time they are the kindest most welcoming individuals you can ever come across.

I met Abby through my cousin who got her engagement ring done at Nathan Alan jewelers at Southcoast Plaza. Through some sizing mixups they sent her directly to Abby to get the ring resolved. What started out as a big annoyance after having spent over 10K on a ring turned out to be the best thing to have happened since we were able to meet Abby. You know you're in good hands if your jeweler is the guy doing it for Nathan Alan but at ridiculously lower prices.

I had my wife's engagement and wedding band made through Abby, my sister's engagement and wedding band, 4 of my friends engagement and wedding bands, my mom's diamond earrings, my wife's diamond earrings, my aunt's diamond studded watch, my wedding band and you bet I'm gonna refer more people to Abby.

Why do I choose Abby over any other jeweler?

Firstly, his skills are unmatched. This guy has gone through formal training the old fashioned way by apprenticing under a master jeweler for many years before earning the right to create his own designs. He didn't just take some class and get certified like a great majority of other jewelers.

Secondly, the level of customer service is astonishing. When I had my wife's infinity engagement band done I wanted to keep it a secret from her so the sizing wasn't perfect. We didn't wrap all the diamonds around just in case we needed to cut the ring down to size. Sure enough....I overshot it and made the ring to large. While most jewelers would just cut down the ring to size since we left enough extra to do so...not Abby. He made us a completely new band. Who the heck does that these days? Customer service like no other.

Thirdly, Abby and his family are such nice people. Every time I visit I end up staying there for at least 2 hours just talking about random things like cooking, kids, hobbies and whatever else. One time I came to pay the remaining balance of my bill and left with not just by engagement ring but a bottle of mango chutney! We were talking about cooking one day and Abby's wife remembered and had some really good mango chutney to share with us and just gave us the entire bottle.

When looking for a jeweler you couldn't ask for more; Masterful technique in creating beautiful jewelery that lasts, extraordinarily personalized service and people who care about you. I wholeheartedly stand by Abby's Designs. And no....they did not pay me or give me a discount to write this review. I'm in the service industry and get very passionate about this topic. It makes me happy that this level of service still exists today.

Used Abby's Designs years ago for a custom piece, which turned out perfectly. Visited them today to get a few pieces polished and as always, Abby and his daughter are always helpful and the nicest people.

It's not a short drive for us to get to Abby's, but we simply just don't trust another jeweler with our pieces.

I bought myself a necklace off amazon for Xmas and asked my bf to get it engraved for me. He took it to Abby's. before he engraved it he found that it wasn't actually silver!!! It was coated bronze!! Instead if just not doing the engraving and giving it back to us with the bronze, Abby actually gave us a new pendant with the engraving I wanted at no extra charge. I opened my new necklace Xmas morning and it was exactly what I had imagined. I have been to the store numerous times and love everything they have and their prices are very reasonable. I have an old ugly gold and diamond ring that I will be bringing to them to have redone into something I will actually wear. Very excited to see what he comes up with. I know it will exceed my expectations!!!

Well, I can go on for days about Abby's designs. Abby has been making all of my custom jewelry for over 12 years now. He is amazingly talented. I get compliments all the time. One of my favorite pieces he designed for my daughter is a custom pendant map of Italy in white gold with diamonds marking our heritage and it is stunning. He designed her wedding ring as well. I had a vision of what I wanted my ring to look like and Abby nailed it! I can go in there any time and get my jewelry cleaned. Abby and his family are the best! I highly recommend Abby's Designs for any of your jewelry needs. You won't find anyone better than Abby....I just love him and his family..

Abby's Design is really a great jewelry store! Abby is such a trustworthy and talented man. Everyone in the store is so helpful. I had two baby rings that had been my parents' and they were almost 100 years old. The rings needed to be repaired and cleaned. There is no one in the world I would have trusted with these family treasures but Abby. No amount of money could ever replace them and Abby made the rings look absolutely amazing while retaining their historic value. Wish I could give him 1,000 stars because his work means the world to me and to my family! You can't go wrong!

Fantastic service. Abby is a wonderful creative jeweler. He replaced a small missing diamond from a delicate eternity band and checked all the other diamonds to make sure they weren't loose. And it was so sparkly clean upon pickup. Also, I brought in a small empty timepiece that he filled with my emeralds and buffed the scratches out of the face (which I think is very difficult since it's a plastic composition not crystal) to make my own shake shake locket and the necklace is so beautiful.

We recently had Abby design my husband's wedding ring. It was beautiful and one-of-a-kind. Exactly what we were looking for, and at a very reasonable price. In the future, I can't see us trusting anyone else with our very special jewelry. Thanks Abby!

They resized a ring for me, and did an excellent job. The ring came back fitting perfectly and all shined up. Only deducted a star because it took about twice as long as they said it would. It didn't bug me tremendously because I wasn't waiting for it, but it would be nice to get a more accurate estimate.

Just wanted to say thanks to this local company. My wife and I went in there with an idea on a wedding band for me. They sketched out our ideas and once they had the wax done it looked great. And when we got the final product it looks amazing. DJ was very professional and pleasant to work with. We will definitely go back to work with her.

Abby's Fine Jewelry is the best! I found the store via Yelp reviews and am so glad I did. Last year I asked Abby to make a special bracelet for me that had a lot of sentimental value. I wear it nearly every day. When I initially spoke with DJ in the front of the store, she listened carefully and completely understood what I wanted.

Just the other day I stopped in to ask if a small charm attached to the bracelet could be soldered. (It was starting to catch on clothing.) Not only COULD it be soldered, but it was done while I waited - which I didn't expect. And there was no charge.

It's design perfection and a little thing like affixing my charm so it doesn't snag that will make me return to this wonderful little shop anytime I need help with jewelry. Thank you Abby and DJ!
